Born September 15, 1946 to John H and Vennie Faye Hall, Shouns, TN
Died March 27, 1967

Hall, a graduate of the Johnson County High School, Mountain City, TN joined the Marine Corps and was deployed to Vietnam on March 5, 1966.

He was stationed in the Quanti Tin Province during the Tet Offensive, which was an attempt to force the Saigon government to collapse.  the 5th Marines were tasked with many operations, most of which were search and destroy missions.

Corp Hall was killed in action on March 27,, 1967 at Quang Tin in South Vietnam of multiple fragmentation wounds.  He received the Purple Heart and is buried in the Hammon Cemetery, Johnson County TN.

​The VFW site in Mountain City is named after Worley Wayne Hall in honor of his service.
