OPPORTUNITIES FOR ARTISTS

Tennessee arts commission calls for artists

I’m an Artist.
How do I get my work in the Arts Center?
Thanks for asking!
There is a jury process. You may submit 5 photographs of your current work (work completed within the past two years) and a short bio. We’d also like to see your artist statement if you have one. Please include pricing information for the work in your photographs. If you work in more than one medium, you will need to submit a separate packet for each medium.
Our jury will evaluate your work to see whether it is a good fit and in keeping with the Arts Center’s Mission and Vision. Another consideration is whether we are already at capacity for the kind of work you create, as we have limited space.
The jury is comprised of 3 members and is top secret.
If you don’t produce enough work or don’t want to go through the jury process, there are community shows several times a year. These community shows are open to any artist in any medium. You will simply be asked to submit three photos either printed or via email or facebook  messenger.  Calls for entry will be issued a couple of months in advance.
