Samuel G. McGuire

Pvt. Army, Company L, 117th Infantry Regiment, 30th Division
Born 04/02/1893, Doeville, TN  to John & Lydia Stalcup McGuire
Deceased 08/09/1918 

Pvt. McGuire worked at a sawmill until joining the Army in September, 1917 at Camp Gordon, GA.
​ Following training, he was sent to France.  He was killedin action on 8/9/1918  during the last battle of the Ypres-Lys offensive.
