Born September 4, 1928 - Laurel Bloomery to Jake L and Della Gentry
Died Sept 2, 1951

Cpl Gentry was a Medic and assigned to the 38th Infantry Regiment.

The Battle of Bloody Ridge was a ground combat offense from August 18 to September 5, 1915 with the objective to seize a ridge of hills that were believed to be observation posts for the Chinese (PVA) and North Koreans.
