We are so excited to be hosting award-winning author Sharyn McCrumb on Sunday, September 20th. She's written more than 25 books including her Ballad Series, which are primarily set in our Appalachian mountains. If you're a fan, or if you know someone who is, we have two amazing offers just in time for Mother's Day.

First, she will be doing a talk at Heritage Hall Theatre that afternoon. From now until Saturday, May 9th we're selling tickets for $10 (after this date, they will be $15 ).

We will also be offering a VIP reception for which a limited number of tickets will be sold. This special event will include a reserved seating ticket to her talk, a meet and greet with Sharyn McCrumb, refreshments and a memento. Tickets for this event are available now for $45. After May 9th, these tickets will go up to $60.

So if you have a special person in your life whether it be a mother, graduate, friend, who is a fan of this talented author, tickets to either of these opportunities would make a wonderful gift for them.
