Join ceramic artist Tara Belk for a hands-on holiday workshop where you’ll create your own Christmas tree, star or Nativity luminary. Tea lights can be added for display. Tara’s whimsical, nature-inspired approach makes this class a perfect opportunity to explore texture, form, and playful design while crafting festive décor for your home or for gifting.

During the first two and a half-hour session, Tara will guide you step-by-step through shaping and detailing your luminary using simple hand-building techniques. You’ll have the freedom to experiment with patterns, carvings, and embellishments to make each piece uniquely yours. You'll return the following week to glaze, if desired.

All tools, materials, and instruction are provided—no previous clay experience needed.

Celebrate the season with creativity and leave with handmade treasures you’ll enjoy year after year! Location: Arts Education Center (College Street)
