Low Relief Sculpture in Clay with Tara Belk
Express yourself in clay! Create a low relief sculpture on a slab. Tara will guide you through adding material and refining your sculpture in this two-part class. Fee is $30 and covers all materials. Appropriate for ages 14+
Acrylic Pour Clocks with Joan Fluette
Make your own acrylic pour clock from a vinyl record! On April 19, Joanii will teach you acrylic pouring techniques and you will plan and pour your record. Then you’ll return on May 3 to apply resin. After an overnight cure, you’ll come back on May 4 to assemble the timing. Cost is $70 and includes all materials.
Basic Charcoal Drawing with Cristy Dunn Lesson Kit
You'll get all the materials you need to follow along with the video lesson and learn to model 3-D forms on a 2-D surface using light and shadow.
Acrylic Paint Pouring with Joanni Fluette
In this introductory workshop, participants will be introduced to acrylic pouring including materials, color, and the following techniques: Open Cup pour, Dutch pour, Reverse Dip Flower, and Balloon Kiss. Materials included. Cost is $30
Joan will demonstrate how to mix the paint and various pouring mediums and give a brief explanation of the right and wrong viscosity for acrylic pouring. We will move through each technique with an instructor demonstration followed by a participant practice session. Colors will be grouped in 3's as recommended color selections but participants are welcome to experiment. After all 4 of the techniques have been demonstrated and practiced, participants will create their final piece.
Participants will be provided all materials and may bring other objects on which to pour if desired.
Acrylic pouring is fun but messy, so wear clothes you don't mind getting messy in!
Patchin' it Up with Connie Moody

PATCHIN’ IT UP WITH CONNIE MOODY Using fabrics and fibers to visibly hand-mend and embellish clothing and home goods. Extend the life and wearability of well-loved wardrobe pieces by repairing and disguising holes, tears, spots, and stains with various methods of visible mending or use these techniques to add visual interest, enhanced design and FUN to items of clothing or textiles. You can work on practice pieces or on your own garment (woven fabric recommended- not stretchy, shiny or thin), Cost is $40
Portraits in the Style of the Old Masters with Cristy Dunn
FEBRUARY 20-23 from 2:30 to 5:00pm PORTRAITS IN THE STYLE OF THE OLD MASTERS WITH CRISTY DUNN In this four-day workshop, you’ll create an oil portrait. You’ll learn to use value to create the illusion of form in an underpainting. Then you’ll use glazing to create natural color just like the old masters did. This class is suitable for intermediate to advanced artists ages 16 and over. The $50 fee includes basic materials.
Adventures in Acrylic for Ages 8 and Under with Tara Belk
April 6 from 10am to 12pm
Get loose and have some fun with color and texture! Tara will help you explore a variety of painting techniques. Cost is $12. Young children should be accompanied by an adult. (Parents and grandparents are encouraged to join in the painting fun, too!)
